This year marks 50 years of NAIDOC Week celebrations, a time to honour the legacy and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

NAIDOC Week is celebrated by local community events, and on Thursday 10th of July, you can celebrate at NAIDOC in the city, held in partnership with We Are Warriors.

Markets featuring First Nations fashion, homewares, food and art will take place at Lower Town Hall from 2:30pm, and live concert from 7pm the same day. Coming along is a great way to get behind First Nations businesses and artists.
